White cherry jam with lemon and mint

Did you know that there is a white cherry? I didn't know either, until I came across this fragrant recipe. White cherry jam with lemon and mint is just an incredible delicacy with an extraordinary refreshing and interesting taste.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Prepare all the ingredients you need to make White Cherry Pitted Jam. Sort out the white cherries, put in a sieve or colander, rinse thoroughly and let the excess liquid drain. Wash the lemon thoroughly.
step 2 out of 5
Wash the mint thoroughly and shake off excess moisture, tear off the leaves and chop finely with a sharp knife. Cut the lemon in half; only half is needed. Gently remove the seeds, chop with a blender.
step 3 out of 5
Remove the seeds from the cherries using a pin or a special tool. Place the crushed lemon in a container in which you will cook the jam, put the prepared berries on top. Fill the berries with the required amount of granulated sugar, add chopped mint and cloves. Stir well, cover and leave for 10-12 hours.
step 4 out of 5
Put the container with berries on low heat, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally and skimming off the resulting foam. Cook for 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat and cool completely. Repeat the cooking process 3-4 more times. Wash the jars thoroughly and sterilize in the microwave or oven. Pour boiling water over the lids. Jars and lids must be dry.
step 5 out of 5
Using a ladle, carefully pour the hot jam into sterile jars. Tighten jars of white cherry jam with sterile lids, then turn upside down. Leave to cool completely. After cooling completely, turn the jars over and transfer them to a cool place for storage. The remains of the fragrant jam can be safely tasted.

Enjoy!
