This is a recipe for making plum jam for lovers of certainly whole fruits in dessert and who are not at all embarrassed by the presence of seeds. First, the plums are infused in syrup overnight, and then they are boiled twice with a break of 12 hours.

First, prepare the sugar syrup for the plums. Pour water into the jam pot. Pour sugar into it in portions, stir until completely dissolved and boil the syrup for at least 5 minutes.

Rinse the plums well with cold water, remove the tails and damaged fruits. Prick each plum with a fork so that the fruit gives its juice and is well saturated with syrup.

Transfer the prepared plums to boiled sugar syrup and leave overnight.

In the morning, put a saucepan with plums on low heat and cook for 5 minutes. Then leave the jam for another 12 hours. During this time, the plums will become soaked in syrup and become similar to marmalade, and the syrup will acquire the aroma of plums. After this time, re-boil the jam for another 5 minutes and pour it hot into sterile jars. Roll up the jam with boiled lids, cool and transfer to a storage location.
