Cherry jam with hazelnuts

From cherries and hazelnuts, a very unusual exquisite homemade sweetness is obtained. It will take a little time to remove seeds from the berries and infuse the jam.

Tear off the tails from the cherry berries, wash the berries, transfer them to a colander so that the water is glass. Remove seeds from berries.

If you have large hazelnut kernels, divide them in half, fry them a little, or dry them in the oven.

Pour sugar into a saucepan, pour in water and put a vanilla pod. Simmer the syrup over low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then add the berries to the syrup, stirring gently, bring the jam to a boil, cook for 5 minutes and turn off the stove. Leave the jam for 3 hours, then repeat the whole procedure 2 more times.

Wash the lemon and cut into thin slices. During the last boil, add lemon to the jam. Pour hot jam into sterilized jars and roll them up. Turn the rolls upside down, cover with a warm blanket and wait until they cool completely, then move them to a cool place for storage.
