You can easily make delicious delicious cherry jam with your own hands, to the delight of guests and households. Such jam is often made from gooseberries, but the version with cherries is simpler - the nut is put in place of the bone. This delicacy is ideal for tea, sweet table.

Sort fresh cherries, rinse in running water and remove the leaves and stalks. With the help of a special tool (or without it), remove the seeds from each berry. Be very careful, because nuts need to be inserted into the berries in place of the seeds. You can fill in all the berries or some of them.

Send the cherries stuffed with nuts to a bowl, where add all the granulated sugar at once and mix very gently. Leave the container overnight in the room, covered with gauze. For six hours at least the berries should stand.

After the allotted time, move the bowl of berries to the stove and cook over low heat until boiling, and after boiling for another five minutes. The jam should cool completely within half a day, and after that the cooking process must be repeated. There should be three approaches in total, after which you can roll up the jam.

When you boil the cherry and walnut jam for the third time, pour it into sterile jars and tighten the lids. The jam should cool upside down without any insulation, and then it can be stored even at room temperature in a dark place.
