Sweet cherry jam with mint

Sweet cherry and mint jam has an incredible taste and wonderful aroma. The consistency of the jam is thick and jelly-like. Thick cherry jam can be used as a filling. The amount of granulated sugar can be adjusted independently, depending on your own taste preferences.

Sort the cherries, put in a sieve, rinse thoroughly and let the excess liquid drain.

Rinse the lemon and fresh mint.

Peel the cherries using a special tool.

Put the prepared berries in a container with a thick bottom and cover with the required amount of granulated sugar, then stir. Place the container on low heat.

Bring to a boil. Squeeze out the lemon juice and add to the berries.

Boil the jam for 10 minutes, remove from heat and cool completely. Put on the heat again, add the mint, boil for 10 minutes and remove the mint.
