Sweet cherry jam in a slow cooker

Cherry jam is always tasty, juicy and aromatic. Today we will make jam from a light variety of cherries and we will cook it with a bone. Our kitchen assistant - a multicooker will help us in cooking. With it, the cooking process will be noticeably faster, and you will not need to use a large amount of dishes. Also, due to the uniform heating of the multicooker bowl, the jam does not need to be constantly stirred, which significantly saves time during cooking.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
To make the jam, choose a dense ripe cherry. We put it in a colander, rinse it under running warm water and leave it for 5-10 minutes so that all the water is glass. Then we remove the twigs. During this time, pour water into the multicooker bowl, turn on the "Multichef" mode on the multicooker, set 120 degrees and bring the water to a boil, then add sugar. Stir the sugar mass constantly, and boil for 2-3 minutes so that all the sugar dissolves and we get sugar syrup. Put the cherries in the syrup, turn on the "Stew" mode on the multicooker, press the "Start" button and bring the jam to a boil without closing the lid of the multicooker.
step 2 out of 5
After the jam has boiled, remove the resulting foam from it and cook for 5 minutes. Then turn off the multicooker and leave the jam at room temperature until it cools completely for 5-6 hours.
step 3 out of 5
Turn the completely cooled jam back on to the "Stew" mode and bring it to a boil, stirring occasionally, and cook for 20-25 minutes. After the time has elapsed, turn off the multicooker.
step 4 out of 5
Pour hot cherry jam into sterilized jars, tighten with boiled lids, turn the jars upside down and leave at room temperature to cool the jam completely.
step 5 out of 5
We store the finished sweet cherry jam for storage in a dark, cool place, where it will better retain its rich color and taste.
