Blueberry jam with strawberries

Jam from wild berries, blueberries and strawberries turns out to be incredibly tender and tasty. It's just that blueberry jam is somewhat bland, and strawberries add sweetness and aroma to it.

Sort the berries, wash and discard in a colander so that water is completely drained from them.

Use a slotted spoon to remove the berries from the pan and simmer the syrup separately over low heat until some of the liquid evaporates and becomes thicker. Then transfer the berries back to the syrup, bring the jam to a boil.
