Uncooked black currant jam with orange

The less heat treatment, the more benefit is in the workpiece itself. This is just about this jam. Despite its shorter shelf life, it is increasingly appearing in our kitchens. After all, the citrus juice of an orange, as it is better, sets off the sweetness of black currant and gives the jam even more flavoring shades.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We sort out the berries of black currant, rinse and be sure to dry.
step 2 out of 5
Then add granulated sugar to them, trying to roll all the berries in it. We leave them in this form for several hours, until the currants let out the juice.
step 3 out of 5
Rinse the oranges well and cut into slices along with the peel.
step 4 out of 5
After several hours have passed, we check the condition of the berries. When the currants let the juice go, we pass it together with the orange through a meat grinder or interrupt in a blender.
step 5 out of 5
Mix the fruit and berry mass again and put it in jars. More sugar can be added if desired. The jars themselves are just closed with nylon lids and placed in the refrigerator.
Enjoy your meal!
