Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
To make blackberry jam, choose a ripe berry. We rinse it in a colander under a cool stream of water and leave it to drain from the water. Then put it in a saucepan, add a glass of water and simmer for 10-15 minutes until softened.
step 2 out of 4
After the berry has boiled a little, it becomes soft and easily separates from the seeds. We put the berries in a sieve and use a wooden spoon to rub the blackberries through a sieve. We discard the bones remaining in the sieve, put the resulting puree back into the pan, add a glass of water and sugar, bring the jam to a boil, remove the foam with a wooden spoon and boil the jam for 20-30 minutes.
step 3 out of 4
Then pour hot jam into pre-sterilized jars and close with boiled lids. Turn the jars upside down and leave to cool completely at room temperature. After that, we remove the jam in a cool dark place for storage.
step 4 out of 4
After the jam has completely cooled down, it acquires a slightly thick consistency and rich shade.
