Pear and plum jam for the winter

The original jam comes from pears and plums. Summer fruits complement each other perfectly and are easily harvested for the winter. The delicacy acquires a light sweet and sour taste. It can be used as a stand-alone dessert or as a filling for baking.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
We wash the plums thoroughly under cold water, then cover them with sugar and leave them for a while so that they give juice.
step 2 out of 7
After this procedure, put the candied plums on the stove and bring them to a boil. Do not forget to stir so that the fruits do not burn.
step 3 out of 7
We wash the pears in advance and cut them into slices. We send to the boiling plums. Stir and cook over low heat until tender. This will take approximately 20-25 minutes.
step 4 out of 7
We discard the hot jam on a sieve, where we grind the plums and remove the seeds from them.
step 5 out of 7
Then we twist the resulting mass in a meat grinder.
step 6 out of 7
Return the resulting gruel to the saucepan with syrup, stir and bring to a boil once.
step 7 out of 7
Ready jam can be poured into sterilized jars and stored in a cool place!
