Whole figs are sent to the multicooker bowl, covered with sugar and left for three hours. The jam is cooked for an hour, after which it is poured into cans and rolled up, or immediately served.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
First, rinse fresh figs thoroughly under running water and dry them on a paper towel. Cut off the tails from each berry. If desired, you can cut the berries into several pieces.
step 2 out of 6
We transfer the figs to the multicooker bowl.
step 3 out of 6
We fill it with granulated sugar and leave it for at least three hours at room temperature so that the fruits release juice and make a syrup. Best left overnight.
step 4 out of 6
Cooking jam in the "Baking" mode and set the timer for one hour.
step 5 out of 6
After this time, the figs should become translucent and soft, and the syrup should be thick. Readiness can be checked by dropping a drop on a saucer. If it does not spread, then the jam is ready.
step 6 out of 6
We shift the hot jam into pre-sterilized jars and roll up the lids. Store in a cool dark place and serve with hot tea or coffee. Bon Appetit!
