Irgi jam with apples

I recommend making delicious and rare sirgi jam with apples. Jam is rare and unusual, because such a berry is not often found. Until recently, I hadn't heard anything about this berry at all, but a friend shared a fresh berry and a recipe for jam.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
Prepare the necessary ingredients for the apple jergi jam. Sort out the berries of the irgi carefully. Place the berries in a strainer or colander and rinse well under cold running water. Leave the berries on for a while to allow the excess liquid to glass.
step 2 out of 9
Measure out the required amount of berries.
step 3 out of 9
Measure out the required amount of granulated sugar. Wash the apples thoroughly and peel them from the skin and core. Grind the peeled apples with a blender. You should get a smooth consistency puree.
step 4 out of 9
In a deep container with a thick bottom, transfer the applesauce, pure sirgi berries. Add the required amount of granulated sugar.
step 5 out of 9
Pour in the required amount of drinking water.
step 6 out of 9
Mix thoroughly. Put the container on fire and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until the granulated sugar is completely dissolved. Reduce heat.
step 7 out of 9
Add lemon juice. Simmer for 5 minutes over low heat. Then turn off and leave on the stove to cool completely. Prepare the jars, wash thoroughly and sterilize in the microwave, oven or water bath. Banks must be completely dry.
step 8 out of 9
Put the jam back on low heat and simmer for about 5 minutes after boiling.
step 9 out of 9
Using a ladle, pour the yirgi jam into sterile jars, tighten the lids well. Then move the jam jars to a cool, dark place for storage. The next day, when the jam has completely cooled down, you can taste the aromatic delicacy.

Enjoy!
