Cut the peeled zucchini into small cubes, put in a container with a thick bottom and cover with the required amount of granulated sugar. Cover with a clean tea towel and let sit for about 1.5-2 hours.
During this time, a sufficient amount of juice will be released, and the pieces of zucchini will soak in the syrup. Put the container with the contents on medium heat, bring to a boil, and then reduce the heat and cook the jam for another 10-15 minutes. Then remove from heat and cool completely. Repeat this procedure.
