Chinese cherry jam

Chinese cherry, or as it is also called felt, is very popular in cooking. They are especially fond of using it for making jam. It turns out to be a very interesting delicacy, with a sweet, but not sugary taste. This jam will be the perfect addition to tea.

We wash the cherries, overturn them in a colander so that the water is well glass. Pour sugar over the cherries and leave them in this form overnight to let the fruit juice.

Put the cherries with sugar in a saucepan and put on fire. We wait until the mass begins to boil, but do not bring it to a boil.

Remove the jam and leave it to brew for 12 hours, covering the pan with a towel. After that, put it on the stove again and wait until it boils. And we repeat the process: we set to infuse for 12 hours.

Boil the jam for the last time and cook for another 10 minutes. We put it in jars and roll it up. Leave at room temperature until it cools completely.
