The dogwood five-minute jam is prepared very quickly and therefore it retains a maximum of vitamins. It can be eaten not only for pleasure, but also as a natural antipyretic for colds.

Sort the berries, cut off the tails and wash well, pat dry on paper towels.

Boil the sugar syrup. Pour sugar into a saucepan, pour in water, stir and place on the stove. Bring the syrup to a boil over low heat, cook for 5-8 minutes.

Pour the berries into the syrup, boil the jam for 5 minutes. Carefully remove the foam that forms on the surface with a spoon. After 5 minutes, remove the pan from the stove and cool the jam at room temperature.

Then put the jam on the fire again, bring to a boil, cook for 5 minutes, cool and boil the jam for the third time 5 minutes after boiling.
