This recipe for making jam allows you to preserve all the properties of this extraordinary berry. Using this recipe, at the end you will get a thick and rich in taste of dogwood jam.

Next, you need to prepare the syrup. Mix sugar with water. Pour the resulting mixture into a saucepan and put it on fire. Stir occasionally.

After boiling, boil the syrup for another 5-7 minutes. Once it thickens, remove it from the heat.

Transfer the dogwood to the syrup, mix gently and leave the berries in this state for 12 hours. When the dogwood releases the juice, the syrup will become much larger and all the berries will be covered with it.

After insisting, put the berries in the syrup on the fire and bring to a boil. Then remove the jam from the heat. Cool the jam - let it cool naturally (about 5 hours). Stir the berries before that.

Next, you need to put the jam on the fire again and bring to a boil. Turn off the gas and cool the workpiece (again leave it aside for 5 hours). Next, put the jam on the fire for the third time, bring to a boil and boil for another 5 minutes after that.
