Strawberry and cherry jam

Summer is the time for juicy and sweet berries and fruits. The cherry itself is a very tasty berry, but in the blanks it does not have a very rich taste, so it is advisable to combine it with other berries or fruits. Combined with strawberries, they represent a fragrant duo of summer treats

Wash the strawberries after removing the tails and leaves. Sort the cherries, rinse under running water and remove the seeds from it.

Place the berries in an ovenproof dish or saucepan and add sugar. Put it on a low heat.

Boil the billet, reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally.

Use a wooden spoon to remove the foam from the surface.

Pour citric acid into the jam. It will preserve the bright color of the treat and extend the shelf life for a long time.
