We sort out the field strawberries thoroughly from twigs and debris and rinse them in a colander with water. Let it drain, and leave the strawberries to dry for a couple of minutes.

Pour field strawberries into a saucepan, add granulated sugar, add water and stir gently. We turn on the camphor over medium heat and cook the field strawberries, stirring constantly. Bring it to a boil and reduce the heat. Boil for another 10 minutes.

Now increase the heat again and bring the jam to a boil again. The mass should already boil well and be fairly homogeneous. When the jam has boiled, reduce the heat again and cook for 10 minutes. And we repeat the process one more time. Boil the jam for the last time for 15 minutes.

We remove the resulting foam and hot pour the jam into sterilized jars, roll it up.
