Strawberry jam in a slow cooker

With the advent of kitchen appliances into modern life, preparing blanks for the winter becomes much easier and more enjoyable. At the same time, homemade strawberry jam is much tastier and healthier than purchased counterparts. Grind the berry into a homogeneous puree and cook it moderately sweet.

Wash the cans with baking soda. Fill the multicooker bowl with 0.5 liters. water, install the steamer nozzle, place cans and lids in it. Set the "Steamer" mode and sterilize the container for 15 minutes, then set it aside.

Wash the strawberries and transfer to a colander to drain the water.

Grind the berries with a blender to the desired consistency.

Transfer the strawberry puree to a slow cooker, add sugar to it and stir.

Turn on the Bake mode and cook the jam with the lid open. Stir the jam periodically to remove any foam. When it boils well, set the time to 15 minutes and continue stirring for periods and cook.

Arrange the jam in the jars, after sprinkling a pinch of citric acid on the bottom of the container. Roll up the lids and let cool, covered with a towel for 3 hours.
