Red currant jam with twigs

This jam - five minutes, does not require removing the berries from the branches, we will cook with it. There is a belief that they also contain vitamins, and it will take less time to prepare currants.

Remove the leaves from the harvested ripe berries and rinse well together with the branches.

Place the berries in a colander to drain the water.

Transfer the currants to a heavy-bottomed saucepan and place over low heat to let the juice slowly flow. If the currants let juice greedily, and the berry is dry, add water. Boil the jam, removing the foam from the surface, and cook for 5 minutes.

Rub the berries through a sieve, for convenience, use a potato pusher or spoon.

Add sugar to even hot puree and mix thoroughly. Put the basin on fire and boil. While stirring, cook for 1 minute to dissolve the sugar in the mass.
