If you want your jam to turn out not only tasty, but also beautiful, with whole berries, you will have to pierce each gooseberry berry with a needle through and through so that they do not burst during cooking. Then cover the berries with sugar and let it brew for 2 hours, and you stir them from time to time so that the juice stands out faster and better.
