I propose to prepare a simple, but at the same time unusual and interesting jam from rose petals without cooking. My mother taught me this recipe, we always had a lot of roses in our country house, and she prepared such a delicacy. And since then I have been making this fragrant jam, but only from those rose petals that grow on our site.

First, cut the rose flowers in your area. With purchased roses, I would not dare to make such a jam. You need to be sure that the roses have not been processed in any way, since the petals are not washed before cooking.

Carefully separate the petals from the flowers and place in a sieve. Debris and insects will be sifted through a sieve if they suddenly fall into the flowers. Do this procedure with all the petals.

Transfer the petals to a deep container. Fill in the required amount of granulated sugar.

Rub the sugar petals with your hands to make the flower juice stand out. Wash the lemon thoroughly, cut it in half and squeeze the juice from half of the lemon. Add to the grated rose petals and stir until the granulated sugar crystals are completely dissolved.
