Raspberry and strawberry jam

Raspberries and strawberries are not quite the usual combination for jam. However, it tastes just great! Both sweet and aromatic berries complement each other perfectly and make an amazingly tasty duo!

Put the raspberries in a colander and rinse well under a stream of cool running water. Then we leave the berries in a colander for 10-15 minutes to drain the water. Put the berries in a saucepan.

Put the strawberries in a colander, rinse them under running cool water and leave the berries for 10-15 minutes to drain the water. Then remove the stems from the strawberries.

Put the strawberries in a blender, add a kilogram of sugar and chop the strawberries in puree.

Add 500 gr. To a saucepan with raspberries. sugar and a little of it. Then add strawberry puree to the raspberry puree, mix well. We put the pan on low heat, bring to a boil and cook the jam for 35-40 minutes, remembering to stir constantly so that the jam does not burn to the bottom of the pan.

Put the finished hot jam in sterilized jars, tighten with boiled lids and leave to cool completely at room temperature. We leave a little raspberry-strawberry jam for tasting. The jam turned out to be thick, homogeneous and very aromatic. Bon Appetit!
