For lovers of unconventional preparations, we suggest combining raspberries with gooseberries in jam. You will get whole gooseberries in raspberry syrup. Take ripe berries for jam. The dessert is prepared quickly, most of the time is spent only on preparing the berries. Try it!

Remove the inflorescences and stalks from the gooseberry with nail scissors. Rinse the berries well with running water and pat dry with a towel. Then prick each berry with a needle so that the gooseberry is well saturated with sugar. Place the prepared berries in a bowl for cooking jam, cover with the calculated amount of sugar and stir. Leave the gooseberries with sugar for 2 hours so that it gives its juice and the sugar dissolves.

Peel the raspberries from the stalks and gently rinse with water. Garden raspberries do not need to be washed. Using a blender, grind the raspberries into a smooth puree and after 2 hours transfer them to the sugar-covered gooseberries. Mix everything gently.

Put the dishes with jam on low heat. Cook the jam within 7-10 minutes from the beginning of the boil, stirring it occasionally with a wooden spoon and removing the froth from the surface.
