Watermelon pulp jam in a slow cooker

Unusual and surprisingly tasty jam made from watermelon pulp. It is prepared, by the way, in a multicooker, which allows you not to follow its preparation for hours at the stove.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
So, let's get everything ready for a start. Wash the watermelon and lemon. Squeeze lemon juice out of the lemon.
step 2 out of 8
Cut the peel off the watermelon and cut into slices. You also need to remove the seeds.
step 3 out of 8
Pour sugar into a bowl of watermelon and mix.
step 4 out of 8
Cover the watermelon with sugar with a towel and leave it on the table. This is necessary in order for the watermelon juice to stand out. We put the watermelon in a slow cooker and cook in the "stewing" mode for 20 minutes. Next, turn on the "cooking" mode and leave for another 2 hours, then pour in lemon juice, add vanillin and set to stew for another 20 minutes.
step 5 out of 8
Transfer the jam to a deep bowl and let cool.
step 6 out of 8
We interrupt the jam with a blender until smooth.
step 7 out of 8
Pour the broken jam back into the multicooker and simmer for another 20 minutes without closing the lid. Stir the jam.
step 8 out of 8
Pour hot jam into pre-sterilized jars, twist with sterilized lids and wrap with a towel until it cools completely.
The jam is ready! Enjoy your tea!
