Ranetka jam in slices for the winter

Sliced ​​ranetki are sent to sugar syrup and cooked in it in three steps. Hot jam is laid out in sterilized jars and rolled up. It should turn out to be a beautiful amber color and very tasty.

First, thoroughly rinse the apples under running water and dry them on a paper towel. Then we cut off their tails and cut into slices. We also remove the seeds.

Pour half of the granulated sugar into a deep saucepan, add vanilla sugar to it and fill everything with drinking water. We put on fire, bring to a boil and cook for a couple of minutes, until all the sugar is dissolved. Remove the pan from the stove.

We send the sliced ​​ranetki into the finished sugar syrup and leave them in this state for about half an hour so that they are well saturated.

After this time, return the pan to the fire, pour out the remaining granulated sugar and simmer until the syrup begins to gurgle. We remove the jam from the stove and let it stand for another 15 minutes.

Bring everything to a boil again over medium heat, remove the resulting foam and turn off the heat.

We lay out the hot jam in pre-sterilized jars. Let it cool down a little, after which we tightly tighten the cans with lids.
