We wash the apples, fill with water and boil until soft (readiness can be easily checked with a toothpick or skewer). If the ranetki are small - cook whole, large ones are best cut in half.

We also thoroughly wash the pears, remove the skin and cut into small cubes.

Pour the water from the apples into a separate bowl and add the chopped pear along with sugar to it.

Grind soft apples through a sieve and add to the sweet pear.

Mix the resulting mass thoroughly, put on low heat and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
