Ranetki and lemon jam

Sweet apple and lemon jam is the perfect sweet and sour dessert that can be paired with ginger if desired. The sweetness turns out to be very original and effective in appearance.

Prepare sugar syrup: mix sugar with water in a saucepan or basin and put on low heat.

When the syrup begins to bubble, add the zest of half a lemon to it, or cut the citrus into small cubes - this is a matter of taste.

We boil the mixture for 10 minutes, not forgetting to stir, and add chopped or whole fruits of the ranetki.
