Washed apples are pierced with a toothpick and boiled in sugar syrup in three steps. Then it is poured into three-liter cans and rolled up with lids. It turns out a very tasty jam of a beautiful color.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
To begin with, we thoroughly rinse the apples under running water or in a basin and dry them on a towel. Then we pierce each fruit with a toothpick at the base of the tail.
step 2 out of 5
Now we are preparing the syrup. Pour granulated sugar into the container in which the jam will be cooked and fill it with drinking water. We put on a small fire, bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and cook for a couple of minutes so that the sugar is completely dissolved.
step 3 out of 5
We send ranetki to the finished sugar syrup and turn off the heat. The apples should be completely covered in syrup. We leave everything for a couple of hours so that the fruits are saturated.
step 4 out of 5
Return the container to the fire and bring the jam to a boil over medium or low heat. Cook for 5 minutes without stirring. Instead, you can shake gently. Turn off the stove and let it stand for 8-10 minutes at room temperature. Then bring everything to a boil again and cook for another 5 minutes.
step 5 out of 5
We pour hot jam into pre-sterilized three-liter jars and tighten the lids tightly. Let it cool at room temperature, and then put it in a cool dark place. We take it out in winter and serve delicious jam to the table along with hot tea. Bon Appetit!
