Ranetka jam with cinnamon for the winter

For many, it is the ranetki or paradise apples that are the favorite variety of suburban apple trees. And this is no accident, because from them you can cook a unique amber-colored jam, and using whole fruits. And cinnamon gives a magical aroma and notes in the aftertaste.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
First, let's prepare all the necessary ingredients.
step 2 out of 7
Rinse the apples thoroughly and leave only whole, not spoiled fruits, and slightly prick each one with a fork.
step 3 out of 7
Add sugar to the water and mix thoroughly until all the crystals dissolve.
step 4 out of 7
Pour clean apples into Hot syrup and bring to a boil, remove from heat. We carry out this procedure 5-6 times, each time letting the fruit soak in sugar syrup and cool completely. It usually takes about 10-12 hours. This method of cooking will help us keep the fruit intact, not cracked or mushy.
step 5 out of 7
During the sixth boil, add two teaspoons of citric acid for better preservation of the jam for the whole winter.
step 6 out of 7
Then we add cinnamon, which, in combination with apples, gives a unique taste and aroma.
step 7 out of 7
We pour the finished jam into pre-sterilized jars, roll it up and put it in the basement or cellar. Bon Appetit!
