Ranetki jam with dried apricots

Dried apricots are an unusual and interesting addition to apple jam, the taste becomes more expressive, and the aroma is full. Ranetki are ideal for this recipe, but you can use not only them, all sweet and sour varieties, such as "white filling" or "anise", are suitable.

Rinse dried fruits thoroughly, and pour boiling water for 10-15 minutes - leave to soak. After that, we drain the water and chop it arbitrarily.

We cut the ranetki in half (if the fruits are small), if large, like mine, we cut into slices, removing the core, we only need the pulp.

Pour the prepared apples into an enamel pot or basin, and add one kilogram of sugar.

We send to the stove, cook, stirring with a wooden spoon, until thickened. When the sugar syrup acquires a viscous consistency, reduce the heat and boil for 35-40 minutes.
