Paradise apples jam for the winter

Amber jam made from whole Siberian apples is one of the most beautiful, fragrant and delicious desserts that you can make with your own hands at home. Unlike blanks from ordinary apples, small fruits do not need to be peeled and cored, and this saves enormous time.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
We wash the paradise apples, remove the leaves and dry them, laying them on a cloth or using paper towels. We pierce at the base with a skewer or a toothpick, and if there is none of this, then an ordinary fork will do.
step 2 out of 6
In a basin or saucepan, mix water and granulated sugar, bring to a boil and stir constantly, until the crystals are completely dissolved, remove from heat. Pour fruit into the resulting syrup and leave for 10-12 hours, and preferably overnight.
step 3 out of 6
After the time has elapsed, light the fire again and cook for 5-7 minutes after boiling. Leave the fruits to soak again for 8-10 hours.
step 4 out of 6
A day later, our semi-finished jam will already acquire an amber color, and the ranetki themselves will become almost transparent.
step 5 out of 6
It's time to boil the syrup: we send the pan to the stove for the third time and cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring actively.
step 6 out of 6
Pour the finished brew into clean jars (it is not necessary to sterilize it, it is enough to pour over boiling water and dry it) and roll it up. Cover with a blanket for a day and then put it away in storage. Bon Appetit!
