Mulberry jam in a slow cooker

Mulberry jam is an amazing dessert that has medicinal properties: it strengthens the immune system, relieves nervous tension, and improves sleep. A cup of hot tea with a couple of spoons of mulberry jam will calm you down after a hard day's work and will cheer you up.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Before making the jam, select ripe mulberries, since unripe mulberries are very hard and require a long preparation. Rinse the berries in a colander and leave for 10 minutes to drain the water.
step 2 out of 4
Put the berries in a multicooker bowl and cover with sugar. On the multicooker, set the "Quenching" mode for 60 minutes and press the "Start" button. While the jam is preparing, we will start preparing the jars. We wash them with baking soda and rinse well with water. Put the pot of water on the fire, bring it to a boil, put the nozzle on the pot for sterilizing the cans. We sterilize each jar over steam for 3-5 minutes. Then remove and let the jars cool down a little.
step 3 out of 4
After the beep, turn off the multicooker, open the lid. The jam is completely ready. Pour a little jam into a bowl for tasting. We lay out the finished jam in sterilized jars and tighten with boiled lids. We turn the jars of jam upside down and leave at room temperature until they cool completely, after which we put them in a cool dark place for storage.
step 4 out of 4
The ready-made mulberry jam has a rich color, a slightly thick consistency and a pleasant taste. Bon Appetit!
