This recipe is the answer to the question of how to cook such an incredibly tasty treat at home. It will take a maximum of time to infuse the fruits with sugar, the cooking process itself will not take much time.

We wash the plums thoroughly under running water, while removing the stalks and damaged fruits.

Then we cut each fruit in half and remove the seeds.

Prepared halves of plums must be covered with granulated sugar and left in this form overnight (8-12 hours).

This time is enough for the syrup to form. You can stir periodically so that the plums are completely in the syrup.

We transfer the workpiece to a container suitable for cooking. We put the container with the contents on moderate heat and bring to a boil. Then the fire must be reduced to a minimum, and the jam must be boiled for another 5 minutes. Stir occasionally and skim any foam that appears.

Pour the prepared jam from plums in a hot state into pre-sterilized jars and seal them with lids. Let the jam cool at room temperature, then put it in a cool place for storage.
