Jam from plums and pears

Pear jam with plums in itself is quite unusual in taste, and if you season it with spices, and also add apples there, then the cooking time will be reduced, and the cooking process itself will be simplified. After all, apples are rich in pectin, they will thicken our jam without unnecessary hassle, and also add sourness.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Choose small and sweet plums. Cut them in half and remove the seeds. Transfer the halves of the fruit to a colander and wash well in cold water.
step 2 out of 8
Wash ripe pears, remove the middle. If there are dark spots on the skin, cut them out. Cut the fruit into small cubes.
step 3 out of 8
Core the washed apples, cut into cubes of the same size as the pears.
step 4 out of 8
Pour the chopped raw materials into a deep saucepan with thick sides. Mix.
step 5 out of 8
Pour in all the sugar, stir so that it covers the halves of the fruit.
step 6 out of 8
Pour in filtered water.
step 7 out of 8
Put the container on the stove, pour cinnamon into the blank, add star anise. Bring the jam to a boil over medium heat. If you now cover the pan with the jam with a lid, then the granulated sugar will melt faster.
step 8 out of 8
Cook over low heat for half an hour. Remember to stir to prevent burning. Remove foam by the end of cooking. Cool the jam directly in the saucepan to room temperature. Arrange the product in pre-sterilized jars, close with sterile lids. Store in a cool dry place for about 1 year.
