I want to share a simple and quick recipe for plum and apple jam. The jam is obtained with a special taste and very aromatic due to the used cardamom seeds. I quote the number of ingredients for a half-liter can.

Prepare the ingredients for the plum and apple jam.

Rinse plums and apples thoroughly under cold running water. Peel apples and seeds. You can peel it if you want. Cut into medium sized pieces. Cut the plums into quarters and remove the seeds.

Remove the seeds from the cardamom pod.

Place the chopped fruit in a deep saucepan with a thick bottom and add the required amount of granulated sugar. Mash with a mashed potato pusher or blend with a hand blender.

Place the pot over low heat. Add cardamom seeds. Pour in the required amount of drinking water. Bring to a boil and cook for about 7-10 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the jar, wash thoroughly and sterilize in the microwave or oven. The jar must be completely dry.

Using a ladle, carefully pour the jam into a sterile jar. Tighten the hot jar of jam with a lid, after sprinkling it with boiling water, and turn it upside down. Leave as it is until it cools completely. Then turn the jar over and transfer to the refrigerator for storage.
