Plum jam for the winter without sterilization

I suggest making delicious plum jam for the winter without sterilization. Our family is very fond of fragrant and thick jam, it happens that it simply does not live up to winter. And no matter how much we cook it, it flies away first.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Sort out the plums and rinse gently under cold running water. Leave the berries for a while to allow the excess liquid to glass.
step 2 out of 8
Cut the dried fruits in half and remove the seeds. Put in a container in which you will cook the jam. Sprinkle the halves of the plums with granulated sugar.
step 3 out of 8
Stir and let sit for a few hours to let the juice stand out. Mash the fruit a little with a tablespoon.
step 4 out of 8
Place the container on low heat. Stir until the granulated sugar crystals are completely dissolved. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally and skimming off any foam that forms.
step 5 out of 8
Cook for about 25-30 minutes. By this time, the jam will thicken enough. Prepare jars, wash thoroughly and sterilize in the microwave or oven. Banks must be completely dry.
step 6 out of 8
Remove from heat and cool slightly, blend with hand blender. Put it back on low heat, bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes.
step 7 out of 8
Using a ladle, carefully pour the jam into sterile jars. Tighten hot jars of plum jam with lids, after pouring boiling water over them, and turn them upside down. Leave as it is until it cools completely. Then turn the jars over and store in a cool place.
step 8 out of 8
After cooling completely, you can taste the remaining plum jam.

Enjoy!
