Plum jam with cinnamon

Fragrant and aromatic jam with the taste of cinnamon and in combination with lemon is so pleasant to open in the winter cold. Plum wedges, enveloped in citrus notes, float enticingly in spicy plum syrup. To preserve pieces of fruit in the workpiece, choose round blue durum plums, Hungarian are well suited.

Wash the plums well, cut in half and remove the seeds. Transfer the fruit to a heavy-bottomed jam pot.

Wash the lemon and cut into thin slices. Add citrus fruits to a saucepan, add sugar and shake it a couple of times. Leave the pan with the lid on to sit overnight (6 hours) for juicing.

Place the pot on the stove and cook, stirring with a wooden spoon over low heat after boiling for 35 minutes.
