I was treated to this jam at work. Now I make plum jam with lemon every year and try to do it in large quantities. The jam is aromatic and very tasty due to the addition of cinnamon. Try to cook and you will not regret it.

Sort out the plums and rinse thoroughly under cold running water. Leave the berries on for a while to allow the excess liquid to glass. Cut the dried plums in half and remove the seeds.

Place the prepared plums in a deep saucepan with a thick bottom. Wash the lemon well, cut in half, remove the seeds and cut into slices. Add to a saucepan, add granulated sugar. Stir and let sit for a few hours to let the juice stand out.

Place the pot over low heat. Stir until the granulated sugar crystals are completely dissolved. Cook for about 40 minutes. By this time, the jam will thicken a little.

Add the cinnamon stick and cook for another 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

In the meantime, prepare the jars, wash thoroughly and sterilize in the microwave or oven. Banks must be completely dry. Using a ladle, carefully pour the jam into sterile jars. Tighten hot jars of plum jam with lids, after pouring boiling water over them, and turn them upside down.
