Eel plum jam

"Ugorka" or "Hungarian" is a popular high-calorie varietal type of plum that is widespread throughout the former Soviet Union. I suggest making delicious and aromatic jam from this plum.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Prepare the necessary foods for the plum jam.
step 2 out of 7
Sort out the plums and rinse thoroughly under cold running water. Leave the berries on for a while to allow the excess liquid to glass.
step 3 out of 7
Cut the dried plums in half and remove the seeds.
step 4 out of 7
Make a syrup. Pour granulated sugar into a deep container and add half a glass of drinking water. Cook until the granulated sugar crystals are completely dissolved.
step 5 out of 7
Put prepared plums into the resulting syrup and mix thoroughly. Leave it on for 3 hours. During this time, the plums will release the required amount of juice.
step 6 out of 7
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool completely for about 9 hours. Repeat this process two more times. Place the container on the fire for the last time and bring to a boil. Boil for 20 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the jars, wash thoroughly and microwave sterilize. Banks must be completely dry.
step 7 out of 7
Using a ladle, carefully pour the jam into sterile jars. Tighten hot jars of plum jam with lids, after pouring boiling water over them, and turn them upside down. Leave as it is until it cools completely. Then turn the jars over and store in a cool, dark place. The next day you can taste the jam.

Enjoy!
