Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
To make the jam, you need young green pine cones, which are harvested in late May - early June. We wash the cones under warm running water, remove the twigs. If the cones are too large, feel free to cut them in half. Fill them with cold water and leave overnight. Then we drain the water and fill it with clean filtered or spring water.
step 2 out of 4
Add sugar to the water with cones and put the pan on fire. Bring the mass to a boil, remove the resulting foam. We wash the orange and thinly remove the peel from it, cut it into cubes and add to the boiling jam. Add the juice of half an orange there. Cook the jam for 1 or 2 hours, depending on how thick the syrup you want to get, but remember that after the jam has cooled, it will become even thicker.
step 3 out of 4
While the jam is cooking, we rinse the cans of baking soda and sterilize them over steam, boil the lids.
step 4 out of 4
We lay out the hot jam in sterile jars, tighten the lids tightly and leave the jars to cool completely at room temperature. Then put the jars of jam in a cool dark place for storage. The jam is completely ready to eat. Help yourself!
