It is not difficult to prepare it, only it takes a lot of time to remove the seeds, but it will be fast with good music. Cherry and sugar for this jam, so that it does not become sugared and is well preserved, are taken in a ratio of 1: 1, no less.

Sort out the cherries from the debris, rinse with cold water and remove the seeds with a special tool or hairpin. Then place the berries and juice in a bowl for cooking jam, cover with the calculated amount of sugar and leave for 2 hours so that they are soaked in sugar.

After this time, place the dishes with cherries in sugar over high heat and bring to a boil. During this time, stir the jam with a wooden spoon until the sugar is completely dissolved.

When the jam boils, reduce the heat to minimum and cook the cherries for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Then remove all the foam from the surface of the jam, turn off the heat and leave the jam for 4–5 hours until it cools completely.

Re-put the cooled jam on high heat, bring to a boil and turn off the heat. Remove the rest of the foam with a spoon, it will already be a little.

Pour hot jam into sterile jars and seal hermetically with boiled lids. Turn the jars onto the lids and leave to cool completely. You do not need to wrap them up with a warm blanket. Pitted cherry jam prepared in this way keeps well at room temperature.
