Sugar-free cherry jam

Delicious and especially healthy jams can be made without the use of sugar. And frozen cherries are a great choice for such a treat. The jam turns out to be very juicy, with a rich aroma and light sourness. Just what you need for a pleasant tea drinking in winter!

Tip: We will cook sugar-free cherry jam in a water bath, so you need to choose a saucepan and a bowl that would hold well in it and would not slip. This way you won't have any extra hassle.

We collect water in a large saucepan so that it does not flow out if you put a bowl in it. And bring it to a boil.

Now we take the cherries in the amount we need and send them to a water bath (you do not need to defrost them in advance).

Thus, we cook the cherries over a fairly high heat for half an hour. Stir occasionally. Then we reduce the heat and cook for another 1.5 hours. During this time, the cherry will thicken.

We put the jam in jars and roll it up. Let it cool to room temperature. And then we send it to a cold place.

Tip: If you want a thicker jam, increase the boil time to 2.5-3 hours.
