Cherry jam with nuts

Delightful spicy cherry, cashew jam with notes of mint, cinnamon and star anise. The delicacy turns out to be very fragrant and has an original refreshing taste.

Sort the cherries, wash and remove the seeds. Put the berries in a saucepan, cover with sugar and, stirring, put on medium heat, cover with a lid.

Heat the pan well. Pour nuts on it. Fry cashews in a dry skillet until golden brown. Put cinnamon, star anise, pepper in a saucepan. Add mint. Stir and pour in water.

Pour the nuts into a bowl. When the sugar in the berry juice dissolves, remove the mint. Add nuts to the jam and mix.
