Cherry jam in a slow cooker

Making jam in a multicooker is a little easier than on the stove. It does not need to be cooked in several approaches; in a multicooker with the "stewing" mode, the berries do not boil, but languish in their own juice. You can use a multicooker to cook cherry jam, cherries with seeds are well boiled in it, but remember that it is not recommended to store jam with seeds for a long time.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
If you want cherries to retain their shape as much as possible, then choose smaller berries. Sort the cherries and wash.
step 2 out of 6
Pour the berries into a slow cooker, cover them with sugar. Cherries are very willing to let juice, so they can not be insisted.
step 3 out of 6
Close the multicooker bowl, put the stewing program on for 30 minutes. With this mode of inactive boiling, the berries reach the desired consistency. After the beep, open the multicooker, remove the foam.
step 4 out of 6
Check the jam for readiness, if the syrup solidifies well on a spoon, then it is ready, otherwise boil it a little more.
step 5 out of 6
Sterilize jars and lids for storing jam.
step 6 out of 6
Spread the jam in dry jars, roll up. Store cherry jam in a cool place.

Bon Appetit!
