Jelly cherry jam

Cherry jam is not difficult to jelly. The berry delicacy can be served with tea, used as a topping or even as a stand-alone dessert.

We sort out the cherries. We leave only whole and ripe ones. We wash them under cold water, and then get rid of the bones. This can be done using a special device or an ordinary hairpin.

Mix sugar with pectin. For 1.5 kg of sugar, 2-3 tablespoons are needed.

Put the pitted cherries in a saucepan, cover them with sugar and mix thoroughly. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then cook for another 15-20 minutes over low heat. Stir constantly and remove the foam.
