Apple jam with slices in a slow cooker

The multicooker greatly facilitates the process of making jam, as well as other dishes. Due to the constant temperature, the jam does not overheat, does not burn, and all apples are evenly boiled.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
In a saucepan, dissolve the citric acid in warm water. Rinse the apples thoroughly under running water, carefully cut their core with seeds and divide them into large slices. If the apples are small, then each can be cut into four parts. As you cut, place the wedges in the acidic solution to keep them from darkening.
step 2 out of 5
When all the apples have been soaked in the citric acid solution, drain the liquid from the pan. Pour the wedges into the multicooker bowl and add sugar to them. Stir until the apples are completely covered with it.
step 3 out of 5
Turn on the "Baking" mode with a timer of 10 minutes, or, if the multicooker does not allow you to set the time manually, turn it off yourself after the specified time. Heat apples with the lid open. If you notice that after 10 minutes the apples have not boiled, then increase the time by another 5 minutes.
step 4 out of 5
Add cloves and vanillin to the apples, close the lid tightly and set the "Stew" mode for 15 minutes. When the program comes to an end, the multicooker will beep. Open the lid carefully, being careful not to burn yourself with the steam, and stir the jam.
step 5 out of 5
Pour the resulting mass into pre-sterilized jars and tighten the lids tightly. Arrange the seams upside down, wrap with a towel and leave to cool completely.
Bon Appetit!
