Delicious and moderately sweet jam is made from green gooseberry berries. The delicacy has a pleasant aroma and an incredible amber color.

Let's prepare all the ingredients. Wash the cherry leaves under water. Peel the gooseberries from the branches.

Let's get the seeds out of all the berries. To do this, take a hairpin, push the berry and pull out the filling from the seeds. For jam, we only need the green berries themselves, the seeds can then be used for compote.

Place the peeled gooseberries in a saucepan and fill them with water, place them on the stove.

Add cherry leaves to boiling water, keep it on fire for a couple of minutes and turn it off. Let it cool and send it to the refrigerator for 8-10 hours.

After the allotted time, we take out all the leaves from the pan. We throw them away. Boil the berries with the broth and pour in the sugar, mix and keep on medium heat for 20-30 minutes. After that, the jam is ready. It can be poured into jars.
