Plum jam made with the addition of orange is an incredibly tasty preparation for the winter, which contains a large amount of vitamins and nutrients that plums preserve even after heat treatment. In the process of cooking plums, pectin is released, which gives the jam a thick consistency after cooling. Since we rub the plums through a sieve before starting cooking, the consistency of the jam is tender and uniform, without the peel.

Cooking process
For making the jam, we select ripe yellow plums, from which the pit is well separated. The number of plums in the recipe is indicated already in a purified form. We wash the plums under running water, put them on a kitchen towel and leave for 15-20 minutes to let the water glass. Then, with a sharp knife, cut the plums in half, remove the seeds. Put the peeled plums in a colander and rub them with a wooden spoon to get rid of the peel.
