Five-minute apricot jam with seeds

Peeled apricots are sent to hot sugar syrup and infused there for an hour. Then dried bones are added there and everything is cooked for 5 minutes.

First, thoroughly rinse the apricots under running water and dry them on a paper towel.

We cut the fruit in half, remove the seeds, which we dry in the oven.

Pour granulated sugar into a deep saucepan and fill it with drinking water. We put on medium heat. Stir occasionally until sugar is completely dissolved. Then bring to a boil and cook for another 10 minutes. Remove the foam and turn off the heat.

Add halves of apricots to the resulting syrup and let them stand for 1 hour. Now return the pan to medium heat, add the dried kernels and, stirring gently, bring to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let the jam cool completely.

Bring everything to a boil 3-4 more times. Cook for 5 minutes. We check the readiness as follows: take a saucer and drip syrup on it, let it stand for about a minute, and then tilt it. If the drop does not spread, then the jam is ready.

Bring to a boil for the last time and remove foam if it develops.

We shift over the jars, close with metal lids and let cool completely. We use the resulting jam in the preparation of various sweet dishes or simply spread it on white bread. Bon Appetit!
